TROOPER GEORGE FRANK
A telegram has been received at Adelong stating that Trooper Geo. Frank, previously reported wounded, and then dangerously ill, had died from wounds. Deceased was one of the fresh volunteers from Adelong. He was 20 years of age, and his parents reside at Mount Horeb. He came to Adelong from Shropshire, England, three years ago.

Another of our brave lads has given his life in the cause of righteousness, in the person of Signaller Reuben Williams
eldest son of Mr and Mrs T. Williams, of Newtown, Toowoomba and formerly of Westbrook. The sad news was wired yesterday morning.
Reuben answered the call of duty early, and saw long service in France. About 12 months ago he received injuries which laid him aside for a time. On recovering he bravely returned to the post of his duty. To his sorrowing parents, brothers and sisters, the sincere sympathy of this district is extended.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Williams, of Newtown, Toowoomba, and formerly of Westbrook, have been officially advised that their eldest son, Signaller Reuben Williams, has been killed in action.
